Rounds About Women (RAW)
- Attend five of six sessions (timely notification if unable to attend)
- Write in your journal after each session
- Commit to implementing two to three ideas generated during the sessions
- Complete follow-up questionnaire six months and a year after the last session
Location: Clark Tower Building, 5100 Poplar, Tower Room, Memphis, TN
Time: Wednesday, 11:00 to 1:00 p.m.
Fee: $99 includes six facilitated sessions, materials, Mini-Expo, and lunch
Mission Statement
To help women grow their business dream through a common and communicative thread of support, education, and resources.
Objectives
To offer women who are in business the following:
- An experience to learn the basic responsibilities associated with business ownership
- An opportunity to focus on the image and presence associated with business ownership through the eyes of competition and potential clients
- A platform to listen to successful women business owners in this community
- A compilation of specific success- and near success practices in the business arena
- An introduction to communication through reality- and social-based networking involving the resources offered by SCORE and other organizations
- An opportunity to display and market your business product/service

Memphis SCORE provided 2,000 small business services to area entrepreneurs in 2009, through face-to-face and email counseling, and a series of business workshops. The chapter’s 30 volunteers have an average of 30 years of business experience, with a wide range of expertise.
